A cremello colt bows his head to a stiff wind and enjoys a stretch. I know he's a wild mustang not a unicorn but seeing wild horses endure today in the wilderness of Utah's Great Basin, even as programs continue to "manage" their numbers, is enough to make you believe in magic.

Shannon Story
Wonderful capture of this beauty.
Sylvia J Zarco replied:
Thank you Shannon! So glad you like this beautiful stallion. This capture is personally special as the year before I shot this, photos of him as a young colt stirred me enough that I reached out to the photographer (a fellow artist on RedBubble) to ask where in the Great Basin I could see wild horses. Before I knew it we hatched a plan to meet and I spent a day wandering with him and 100+ wild horses. When I spotted and met this cremello colt, it truly was a magical, fairy tale moment.
