Description
"The Florida Panther is one of the most endangered mammals on the planet. About 180 cats remain in the wild. Beyond limited habitat, panther are threatened by disease, continued habitat loss, collisions with vehicles and aggression between panthers that fight over limited territory. Any combination of these factors can result in extinction of Florida Panthers." c/o The Nature Conservancy
Flamingo Gardens offers sanctuary to 3 permanently injured panthers who are left unable to fend for themselves in the wild. With so many obstacles facing these big cats, here they get safe shelter and we have the increasingly rare opportunity to see this beautiful endangered wildcat face to face.

Wow, completely honored for your group and Special Feature Dawn! What a privilege for me to see a Florida Panther, in a wildlife sanctuary or any where for that matter. So I'm thrilled to share this image and can only hope that your generous features help raise awareness and support for these beautiful creatures. Thank You Dawn!
