I sometimes wonder if I’m just too late. If I just stayed too long at the fair. And if that’s why I feel left behind with only memories of better brighter times to look back on.
But then I realize. My favorite time of day is dusk. When many others have left the river after the sun sets, that’s when I’m inspired to take a deep breath and wait for magic and light that’s far too deep and colorful to be seen while the sun is busy moving through the day.
