Day before Valentine's Day 2016, daytime temp in Boston was 6 degrees Fahrenheit with the evening forecast calling for -7F with "life threatening wind chills" expected to feel like -34F.
The next day, Valentine's Day, temps rose to a frigid 10 degrees. But I didn't need to venture out to celebrate as Love was waiting on my kitchen windowsill where it blossomed full of fun and whimsy to warm my heart (and water my plants).
